Morning All,
Becca - Hugs for the BFN.
Tinks - Lovely creations. The hearts are my favourite.
Code - Apparently I am born year of the Tiger....they are almost extinct right:eek:
KScarlet - Hugs for AF. Sorry it wasn't your time. It really sucks when we get all hopeful and then the witch gets us. I know you are not ready to chart yet but even doing it for one month with give you two important pieces of information. 1. When or not you are ovulating 2. How long your luteal phase is. That way finding your fertile days is a lot easier to work out even with a regular cycle.
Faithhope - Thanks for the heads up with This morning. I might give it a view on iplayer. I know that the only year in my life that I ever had regular cycles was when I really got myself into shape....then I met OH and too many cosy nights in with junk and movies and I piled it all back on again. There is no way round it I got to lose more weight again.
Carrying on from that theme I have started losing again. My weight stayed the same for several weeks and nothing seemed to budge it but now it scales are going down again.....and I tried on a dress that I haven't been able to get into for ages and last night managed to get the zip done up.:j0 -
Even though I don't like disagreeing with my husband, the "I'm sorry" make-up dtd is awesome.
Slight temp rise this morning, but no higher than it has been earlier.
I'm going into town today to hopefully snag some of the 25p clearance cushions from Wilkinsons. We definitely need new cushion covers for the sofa though, after nearly a year of heavy use plus two tiny bunnies giving them heck, ours have finally started coming apart at the seams! Nothing a needle and thread can't fix, but I want to have spares while I'm fixing them.
Hope that everyone has a wonderful day!0 -
Oh big hugs Becca. It's so cruel when our bodies start playing tricks.
I guess I really ought to get back on the wagon to lose some weight if it's going to help my fertility.I've ventured into the overweight category on the BMI calculator.
I keep thinking about doing the 5:2 diet but I'm a bit of a grazer and feel really faint if I don't eat breakfast or lunch and I don't *do* fruit so can't just nibble on that when I need a snack.
It's also a bit of a catch 22 as I'm feeling so low about not being PG that I resort to a bit of comfort eating on an evening but the comfort eating is the reason why I'm not losing weight which may be the reason I can't get PG!
Gosh, that was a bit of an epiphany! Right, no more sneaky snacks on an evening!
I think I'm going to start swimming once AF is gone. I CBA with any exercise right now as I'm just not feeling up to it, but I do enjoy swimming (although I'm terrible at it!) and it's something I can keep up *when* I'm PG. OH and I used to go quite often on Sunday mornings so we'll have to get back into that too.Now I just need to find my swimsuit!

Also, I've never had a horoscope warn of miscarriage before...
Ha ha yes Im always late everywhere too.
Oh well I had a mc and I never saw a horoscope about it so perhaps it will go the other way for you!Hi all sorry not been around a few days, AF has arrived (4 days early) feel so down about itI had really hoped this was our month. I don't really want to get into charting but I have no idea what else to try? We tried BDing days we dont normally and it obviously made no difference. I feel so daft I almost convinced myself I was pregnant
Its really down to you to what will make you feel the most or least stressed.
Like I thrive on information so for me charting makes me feel more relaxed because I know we bd and exactly when I ovulated.
But for others who perhaps wake up at different times because of shift work or something it could cause stress if theyre worrying about it and getting skewy temps.
Or do what Skint said and try SMEP first. Or do them both together, your choiceHi
Just to let you know that This Morning are running a fertility week this week. You might be interested in catching up on iplayer if you can't watch it at the time. For me I was expecting some big fountain of knowledge from Prof Winston who was on yesterday but the main thing I got from it is that losing weight is more important than you think esp for those going for IVF. Also some people don't do enough BD. Ok I might have been sticking my head in the sand about the weight a little bit cos my BMI is about 27 which I thought wasn't too bad but he says even half a stone lost can make a difference.
AF due to arrive Friday but waiting to see if she arrives so I don't waste a test. I only use digital cos otherwise I would drive myself daft over is it, isn't it with the lines.
Thanks Ill have a look this morning as Im not working til the afternoon. I might record it so I can whizz through bits I dont want to watch. I think some report came out last week about bmi of 27 or over can affect fertility.0 -
Im guessing this is it?

Yay for the weight loss. Also the thing my friend sent me had all the signs on in it and said babies for Tigers too.
On my second and final fast of the week. Haven't weighed myself yet but my clothes definitely feel a bit looser.
As for the more bding - with my DH I have 2 chances of that - slim and f-all.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
They're doing sperm testing in 15 mins and at 12pm on This morning.
Code does your DH have a job that makes him tired in the evenings as I remember before you said he was too tired to be doing it every day at ov - or something along those lines? If that is the case, would you be able to in the morning or no time then?
My DH is knackered when he gets home and he leaves at 6am most days so no chance then, so we try to do it as soon as he steps in the door otherwise once he's sat down on the sofa that's it!
Sorry if that's not the case just trying to think of some suggestions.
He said to me last night lets just do it all the time this cycle but I know after around 3 times were both like oh god really again? I think also if you could know it was going to work it would help!0 -

So jealous of how creative you all are! I'm rubbish at anything crafty, it just ends up looking like a mess. It's so bad that I used to get my mum to do my art/craft homework!
Becca - hugs for the BFN.
Mrs T M - not sure if you've already said, but did you tell your GP about the mid cycle spotting? If not, it might be worth getting it checked out.
firefly369 - well done with the weight loss! It's so nice fitting into things that were a bit tight before.
KScarlet - sorry for cd1.
Codemonkey - my husband is thinking of doing the intermittent fasting thing. Are you finding it ok to stick to?Hold my hand harder

He just has a really low drive, and wearily doesn't seem interested during ov although the week after that he's usually really up for it. Also due to physiological issues he has a super long recovery time post sperm release so takes a while to recover. And he's quite large and lasts a very long time so I get really sore too. We are as active as we can be during ov but I tend to panic when I get ov signs and make him bd too early in case we miss it and then by the time my stupid body actually releases an egg, he's fed up with it.Eu não sou uma tartaruga.
