Still no AF for me. Not sure what's happening but do feel pre-menstrual.

Crafty ladies - I find no-one will pay proper prices for handmade stuff as they don't understand the time involved in making something by hand.

A dress I knitted for my DD often has people asking me if they could have one but when I point out that even at half minimum wage it would cost them £60 they change their minds!

Small, quick things are the way to go if you want to sell IMO, as you can build a bit of mark-up into it more easily.

  • Code, I'm a monkey too. I wonder if that means I should stop pigging out :D

Becca, so sorry. I know we were all hoping for you x
  • Hi all sorry not been around a few days, AF has arrived (4 days early) feel so down about it :( I had really hoped this was our month. I don't really want to get into charting but I have no idea what else to try? We tried BDing days we dont normally and it obviously made no difference. I feel so daft I almost convinced myself I was pregnant :(

Have a look into SMEP (think the link is on the first page) and consider checking your CM daily. That's the step before you start charting and OPKs.

How long have you been trying? It takes up to 12 cycles for normal healthy couples :)

  • Thanks Skint :) I will check out the first page now. We have been trying since June/ July. I've just ordered some sasmar conceive plus as I'm sure that helped last time. My son took about a year to conceive, I wish we would have started trying sooner!

  • Just read it, thanks for that interesting stuff. I am going to email it to myself to read through again.
Not sure if it matters too much but most of the links on the first page didn't work for me, I managed to search for SMEP but not sure if the pages have expired (or its my tired old computer!) x

  • Hi

Just to let you know that This Morning are running a fertility week this week. You might be interested in catching up on iplayer if you can't watch it at the time. For me I was expecting some big fountain of knowledge from Prof Winston who was on yesterday but the main thing I got from it is that losing weight is more important than you think esp for those going for IVF. Also some people don't do enough BD. Ok I might have been sticking my head in the sand about the weight a little bit cos my BMI is about 27 which I thought wasn't too bad but he says even half a stone lost can make a difference.
AF due to arrive Friday but waiting to see if she arrives so I don't waste a test. I only use digital cos otherwise I would drive myself daft over is it, isn't it with the lines.
  • Thanks for the info on SMEP Skint, I was just checking it out. Think this will be my next step too. Going to try for two more cycles if this one has not worked out (which I don't think it has as I've been spotting for the last three days - very unlike me!!), before I go onto SMEP.

Wish OH would hurry home soon, I've been horrible since I haven't been able to speak to him (I mean worse than PMT, horrible)
