cd1 for me
Had my cd21 blood tests come back all as normal. So what next?!
The health centre receptionist was rather unhelpful when I rang for the results. She didn't offer a follow up with the doc or anything, do I'm none the wiser.
I have been googling & polycistic ovaries is constantly coming up. I know I'm jumping the gun as we haven't been ttc for that long but it's hard not to assume the worst!0 -
Go & see your dr credit_crunch it was prob an admin that gave you your results.
If you had pcos it'd probably be the case that bloods wouldn't be normal xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Huge hugs for CD1 becca, mincepiemonster and credit_crunch
. Credit_crunch, I'd maybe make an appointment with your GP to discuss the results and ask what happens next.
Hello and welcome Babymad, hope your stay here is short and sweet.
McRach - boo to feeling blah! Hope you've got some nice food to munch on though and that AF shows up soon so you can get started, so to speak!
Mrs T M - glad that your test results came back ok. You sound so positive about your plan of action though, really hope it all works out with the weight loss.
Codemonkey - those white chocolate cheesecake brownies sound so nice! Speaking of crushes, I'm currently developing a little one on Alexander Armstrong from Pointlesss, so not sure what that says about me!
AFM - cd3 so pretty boring really. Must be a bit hormonal as the penguins on BBC1 are making me cry with their cuteness!Hold my hand harder
Ease my mind
Roll down the smoke screen
And open the sky
Let me fly0 -
Hugs for CD1 Becca. I was all secretly thinking this was your month. Hopefully you'll have your first cycle of clomid and be off to greener pastures (boards...) and you'll take some of us with you...
Thanks for doing the lists Becca. I always feel slightly more hopeful when I've left the wine and chocolate stage- you will too soon...
AFM I was on a fast day today which has turned into a starve day as my electric oven and hob have gone kaput... My lovely stir-fry is sat in the fridge tormenting me.
I'm nervous about tomorrow as I have to ask my new manager for time off for my HSG next week- there's loads of people off so I don't think I'll be able to take it as annual leave and I'm worried about if I'll be able to work afterwards after reading the letter the hospital have sent me. I think I'm going to have to tell her the reasons and hope she takes pity on me... I hope I don't have to cancel it as I'm now pinning all my hopes on me not conceiving on my endo blocking up the tubes as that seems like it'd be an easy fix. It's ridiculous- I have some sort of 'wish list/ top of the pops' of things I'd like to be causing my TTC problems and things that I wouldn't like...
Is it possible for AC to work incredibly quickly? I've been taking a full dose (800mg) every other day as I didn't want to risk ov before HSG but didn't want to wait until day 22 to ov... Sure I saw some ewcm before... :eek:0 -
Credit Crunch definitely go to your doctor. I have PCOS but my bloods are OK (borderline might not be ovulating properly but essentially OK). My last ultrasound showed no cysts, the one that they diagnosed me with PCOS showed loads as well as a 16cm painful giant one but I've lost weight since then which I think has helped matters... PCOS is a collection of symptoms- you don't have to have all of them to get a diagnosis. the verity PCOS website is pretty useful.
Seems that all doctors must employ terrible receptionists as a rule- mine try and diagnose you over the phone to save you 'bothering' the doctors...0
