Maybe someone ought to ask Jet2? I know easyjet allow one item of hand luggage and one carrier bag of duty free.

I already have asked them and got 2 different answers as per original post

Lots of airlines allow duty free purchases in addition to their published carry-on allowances. As OTB says, why simply contact Jet2 to find out what their policy is?

Yes but one operative told me that 'hand baggage' did not include goods purchased in the duty free after check-in but the other operative said it did.
  • Its fairly simple ONE PIECE of hand luggage means ONE PIECE.....
Is it really that difficult to understand ???
    End of.........

It's not the number 'one' that's the issue, it's what constitutes 'baggage' (not 'luggage'). One Jet2 operative has told me that baggage does not include duty free airport purchases the other that it does
