Which is pretty annoying given that incorrect exit fees was raised when the site was tested before Christmas. As far as I can see most of the issues raised in the MSE Labs thread on this, which we were told would be fixed are still there!

  • No comment on the content yet but the site desperately wants testing with a number of different browsers as it looks a bit crappy on Firefox 18.0.1...
  • Unfortunately there isn't an option for social tariffs such as npower's spreading warmth tariff.

    No comparison site does.

The eligibilty of social tariffs varies by supplier, and all comparison sites only ever show generally available tariffs.
(Consumers seem to get into enough issues with those)

I have signed up to the Cheap Energy Club and it seems I can save £200 by switching to Scottish Power but the saving is on a combination of my 2 meters. Can I switch the two online or would I have to phone Scottish Power and deal direct?

What do you mean by two meters?

    Gas and electric? No problem

An E7 meter that has two registries? No problem as long as you are moving to an E7 tariff

If you have any other type of odd electricity supply (like E10) that requires 2 separate meters then don't even attempt to switch supplier. Such attempts invariably end in tears.

Even if it did run on Ubuntu I shouldn't need to as there are web standards for a reason, and any professional design team know this. These days there is IE, Firefox, Safari and multitudes of mobile/tablet browsers that all need catering for...

At the last count, it was estimated that over 90% of the worlds PCs run on Microsoft - deal with it ;)
  • The Club idea sounds interesting (especially if it does save money).

However, I've tried putting my details in and there is no option to record payments by Standing Order. I try to avoid DDs so I stay in control, so can this be added as another option or do we enter payments as DDs and try to agree to use a SO with any new supplier?
