Internet Browser Alternatives

I'm currently using internet explorer 6 but for the last few weeks, i'm assuming when there has been a crash, xp just gets rid of the internet explorer windows without even notifying me that there has been an error or something.
I would upgrade to internet explorer 7 but ermm i'm after an alternative, i've tried firefox but it just takes too long to load up, its like a clunky programme, while explorer loads instantly so i want something similar in that manner.
Hopefully i've described that well enough

Opera is regarded in general the fastest browser going.

That's strange, I don't find Firefox to be that slow. I've heard Opera is pretty fast but I haven't used it recently. Not a fan of IE7, it's an improvement but still not very standards compliant.0

That's not the case in general, I've never experienced it. If you're having a specific problem like that then ask for advice on how to fix it rather than saying it's a problem for every user.0 -
I used to use firefox until IE7 came out and then I used that, does everything I want and is compatible with the most sites. But I still have firefox and opera installed. Even if you don't use it I don't see any reason not to upgrade to IE7 unless it just simply doesn't work, in which case it's easy to go back."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Personally I find Firefox pretty quick and certainly more feature rich (through extensions) than opera or IE7 (although, its been a few months since I looked at opera in depth).yea opera is pretty good, dont go with firefox cos it loses your favourates without warning.
I couldn't live without google browsersync, adblock and other extensions now!- = I also recognise the Robins and beep for them = -0 -
