Morning.
Will get up in a minute
Enjoying some peace till tots come home. Had yummy Chinese takeaway with 5 pals last night, and a good old natter. I need to stop eating.
Quite tidy here, and did Hoover all upstairs yesterday, just need to pick up a few books and put away.
Ooh, I did an online order for next day delivery for a dress for my weekend away and it's just arrived! It fits :T well, if anything it's a little loose under the arms. It does look nice! But it's very plain (black and long) so I need to jazz it up with some accessories...
Hmph. I ordered av cable to hook up another DVD to tv and still doesn't work

Morning all
am a happy Valli this morning! When I emptied the e bay packaging cupboard yesterday (AKA under-the-stairs) it occurred t me to read the electric meter; after reading that and the gas and inputting the readings online my DD has dropped AGAIN! just a bit, this time but given that I am now the proud owner of a DW, am running the TD that means I am doing well. I'm on Economy 7 (a historical tarrif :rotfl:) so I try very hard to run stuff during cheap rate times. I also wander around switching stuff off; no longer keep the MW permanently plugged in and use energy saving bulbs.
So that's good.
I have stripped my bed and am going to peg the sheetsout for a lighten at least.
Bossy - check the input on the TV - go through all the options (I am assuming a current TV not a CRT here;)) sometimes you have to tell them where to get their signal from IYSWIM
DS has orderd flowers for his GF for valentines (day after actually as she will be at home that day) Through QUIDCO! he's learning!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning ladies.
Today I have more washing to do. I must attempt a couple of hours ironing and clear the last of the gibble from my bedroom. I also have a meeting at the bank with our 'relationship manager' at 11.30.
All the food colouring I ordered has arrived now so I will have a practice attempt at my nephew's birthday cake sometime this weekend.
I need to get tonight's dinner in the SC. I will get the kids homework done tonight so there is not the usual Sunday evening shenanigans.
I hope everyone has a good day.
You are doing the kid's homework?????;););)
Not been around much this week - DH has had a week off so has been doing little bits and pieces around the house! It looks much better :j:j, but a large part of me can't wait for him to go back to work on monday!
I have signed up fot a 10 mile Hawaiian themed midnight walk for our local hospice in June! I reckon I can walk 10 miles, but I'm normally in the land of nod at nidnight! It will be 'interesting!'
And DD1 has said twice that she's proud of me! That's a first!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
