My 2013 spreadsheet is done and editted with new figures. The bank loan is looking most favourable, it has 2.5 years left and I want to paid off in 18 months which will free up a whopping chunk of our income.. and the 'few quid extra' from rounding up my mortgage payments has put me 3 months in front just last year.. I love months with 5 Fridays..

My DH recommended to my DS2 that he should round up his payments and even in the short time that they have had their house it has already brought their mortgage down by a couple of years. A great idea.:T

Having woken up at 4.15 this morning, I have decluttered 40 winks this afternoon and just had a hilarious phonecall from my DD and the two DGSs, who are in a really funny mood (funny ha-ha, not funny peculiar) and very chatty :rotfl::rotfl:

DH has decluttered a phonecall to HMRC to correct his tax code :)

I have been looking at things to put on eB@y and decided that it isn't worth the effort for some of them - I'm going to do a car boot next Saturday and anything that doesn't sell there can go to the CS. I need my dining room clear by the end of this month!

  • Hi fellow flyers

Left the house at 8.30 this morning and haven't been in long, so only eaten dinner and washed up the dishes with DS.

Not doing any flying tonight, but instead I'm going to sit on here looking up recipes for reducing cholesterol (sp?). Had to visit GP this morning for blood results and it seems my chol. is too high (apparently Jan last year it was 6 and now it is 6.7). More worrying is that they didn't mention it at all last year as I would have tackled it.

I'm always too shattered to go out of an evening and join an exercise class, but I have just had the thought that we have to take DS and DD to various clubs each night which means hanging around, so I'm going to check out what's happening at the sports centre and other venues and spend the time waiting for them doing something productive. The Dr. said he could give me something to reduce it but I'd be on them for life (I'm only 42!!), but I've told him to give me 6 months to see if I can turn it around myself with lifestyle changes and we'll do another set of bloods then.

    Sorry for going off-topic.

Hope everyone is okay today - not had chance to catch up yet, sorry!

    TMD xx
