Day 2 spent £12 at Mcdonalds (treat for kiddiwinks) and £9 at the local shop on some wine and beer. Naughty day for me must be better behaved as of tomorrow.

I lost you all!:o Positive I subscribed to last weeks' thread as usual but I can't find it anywhere ) ...... managed a green week:) first for a while!:T I did give in to the temptation of YS choux buns yesterday ... yum! Thanks ETO for running the thread!


Today has been a NSD so off to a good start!

So .... what else is on this week - unfortunately have one of the pesky hospital appts (it has been 8 weeks since I've been though so I'm making progress:T)

Groceries - £30
Dog walker (in case I'm held up at hospital) - £5
Misc + Hospital (will need to get lunch) - £10

Total = £45

NSD for me today, did go for lunch but was from joint account. which isn't cheating as we have a small fund for meals out and takeaways etc.

Abundant - I'm with you on Saturdays being an odd day. I never have it as a free day as per the challenge as I would just spend and would defeat the point of having a budget. So just do whatever works for you. I was in a situation where I would spend on a Saturday for the week ahead but it would put me over. :mad:

Now I just try not to go grocery shopping on a Saturday, which isn't easy.

Had my haircut today - managed to resist indulging in lovely shampoos and and hair products and doing my own colour for the first time ever to try and stay within budget - yikes!! :eek:
Think Boots are doing 2 for £10 on hair colour so that'll keep me out of mischief one night this week....
