Thanks for keeping this going ETO and hi everybody!
I was a bit naughty (lets call it planning ahead!) and I transferred my £15 over and went to Tesco about 11pm last night so that I wouldn't have to go today. Turns out I am going again today, but to spend Mum's money rather than mine. :rotfl:
So far I'm up at:
£9.75/£15.00
but I wrote my list and stuck to it. It was a more expensive shop than normal because I had to get Marmite for the horse - I bought the last batch before xmas when it was on special offer! - and I have run out of cordial at work, so those two (mostly the marmite) were £6 of that shop.
Just wanted to add that for anybody reading and thinking they would like to join this thread but aren't sure - it's well worth it! This thread has really changed the way that I treat my money and although I'm still paying off debts (this is only my 3rd/4th week in this challenge) I am actually saving up for the things I want rather than just splurging. Personally I am working on my spending money rather than including bills etc, because that's what works for me and it was my impulse buying that was the problem rather than the cost of my bills/debts.

I had a spend day but put it on husbands bank card so still have my £40 lol Ok maybe that was cheating a little, but it was only lunch box stuff for the kids, so took it from the joint account
Rest of the spends this week will be from my £40 budget so have to be good now.
Thanks for adding me0
