  • What's wrong with being a first timer? This whole thread started from first timer to start this post? The deal site sent me a link to enter details and then I got confirmation email saying order will be despatched? Have you ever used a deal site? If so you'll know that its quite common for them to do all the fulfilling of the goods. Look at Wowcher, KGB and even groupon, they all host deals and some deals don't even list the merchant and where the goods are coming from. Maybe you should do a bit more research instead of presuming everything or even better order the Onesie yourself and see for yourself? If its as you say then you'll have facts to make your claims. I bought the blue one :)

I've never used a deal site and wouldn't be seen dead in a onesie, so I've got no interest in trying it myself, which is why I asked you how the process worked. I was interested in which site the link that you are sent by the Deals site takes you to.

The fact is that for this deal Mighty Deals claim a saving of £24 - which is not true because the merchant (who is named in this case and even has a link to his website) is selling the same items on his Amazon store for a lower price and doesn't even have them on his website at the higher price.

No one has said that mighty deals is dodgy - it is foiindustry that appear to be pulling a fast one - in addition to having an illegal website.
  • That's one of the reasons I use deal sites. Lot safer than a lot of the websites out there plus the deal site holds your money so secure. In my experience when you are sent links to the deals not hosted they normally have PayPal so lot safer. I've been scammed by a few websites in the past so got to be careful.

But don't you feel a bit misled that you've bought something for £21 that claims to be a deal down from 40 quid when in fact the website that is backing the deal is selling them through Amazon and eBay at 23 quid and 20 quid respectively.

Not quite the great deal it is made out to be as it's cost you quid rather than saving you £20.

And we're talking Amazon & eBay with their buyer protection, so you are unlikely to get scammed.

    Let me get that.

There selling it for £20.00 that includes postage i guess on ebay ??

Which is cheaper than the mighty deal price !!!

So there are selling it for cheaper than the deal price on mighty deals lol

    cmon that's not on...

I would be interested to know how long they have been selling it at those prices on ebay and amazon ????

    DealJunkie Today, 9:21 PM

you must be annoyed that their selling it for cheaper else where ???
  • With this one I bought through Facebook and it didn't show the rrp just the deal price. I suppose its because its a onesie? KGB have got one on now and I was going to buy this until I saw mighty deals purely because I liked the style? Kgbs rrp is £89.99 and offer price is £16.99 so I thought mighty deals was better deal based on that? Plus KGB have a 28 day delivery which definitely put me off? Mighty Deals deliver in 5 working days.

I know you don't use deal sites but deal zippy shows every deal so good to compare.

I take that back, it's a Kids version they are selling on eBay, they don't appear the have the adult one on there.

But the price comparison with Amazon still stands - 23 quid on Amazon and 21 on Mighty Deals. So a really Mighty Deal :rotfl:

The director said that he will be on it for monday, to sort it out since the deal is mis-advertised and the ( might deal) doesnt exsist.

I was open about that and put that on the thread since well there not ignoring it or hiding from it !!!!

I thought he has replied fast and is going to deal with it.

However having looked at it this morning the link to

    foinindustry has been REMOVED

So they have obviously changed it and they have checked this thread as i sent it in the email. Also since i informed him of this dodgy site their dealing with.

Also telling him of the price being the same on amazon as it is on mighty deals !!

They have decided to delete the website link but they have not decided to amend the DEAL which is still saying that its discounted from £40.00

I think i can confidently say now mighty deals is mis-advertising a deal that they know does not exsist and COVERING evidence so no one else can check the actual selling price of the onesie which is £15.99 !!

I have taken screen shots of the deal they had before with the link and now after the have removed the link, i think trading standards should do something about these guys !!
