Hi,

I was going to buy this voucher but when i go to the website there offering the deal from it doesnt exsist?

To say that the onesie there not on the site at all:

mightydeals

and this is the website there MENT to be from:

foiindustry

but there is no onesie on the site at all, which you can imagine is infuriating as this is ment to be a deal on something that is selling.

I HOPE SOME1 AT MIGHTY DEALS CAN EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHATS GOING ON !!!

Certainly looks like they have some dodgy business practices or at the very least, continually deal with dodgy businesses. You only have to google their name and scam to find lots of threads all over the place, some over a year old.
The last page of this thread from Hot Uk Deals has an email apparently of their director. Maybe try contacting him and see what happens. You could also post on the hukd thread, maybe others who have resolved their problems can give you advice too.

    It's only a game

    Foiindustry looks like a con.

I clicked on various categories and none of them had any products in.

When I did eventually find a product, there was a very interesting choice of product for the "You may also be interested in the following product(s)" section at the bottom of the page.

I looked at a tee-shirt, the recommended other product is an Apple MacBook Pro MA464LL/A 15.4" Notebook PC for £2,299.99. That particular MacBook pro is about 6 years old and Amazon sell the newest version for about £1,700.

    Good,

so its not just me being really stupid.

The site looks like a complete CON. Full of out of date products from years ago.

Also these mysterious onesies i cant see them anywhere, i though maybe i was being blind

So what are they selling to customers and where is this deal....

If you visit their amazon website you can clearly see they are selling the onesies. They are a rated amazon seller, so not dodgy.

Hmm, new user joins up today just to post something nice about someone that is getting criticism. ;)

The deal on Mighty Deals is to buy it from [STRIKE]your[/STRIKE] their website - not the Amazon store.

There are none on the website and the stuff that is on there is outdated and overpriced - therefore it is a con.

    Mmm

    There selling them at £15.99

The exact same price as mighty deals, there is meant to be a discount off the price of £40.00.

    so..........

OK, if you don't like the word con then I will use another word and this one is based on fact and not opinion - how about illegal.

They may be a "rated seller" on Amazon, but their own website is illegal as it doesn't have the legally required privacy and cookie policy or distance selling regulation terms.

Also, their "Customer Service" page is a joke as it still has the Lorem ipsum text from their template that they forgot to change. Very professional.
  • I bought this deal and all payments were taken on the deal site. I didn't have to go through the sellers website? I buy from all the deal sites and never had any problems with this one. Can't say the same for few of the others.

Director emailed saying he will sort it out.

but he was surprised that the price foinindustry are selling it for
is the same as them @ £15.99.

MD has it advertised as being discounted from £40.00 so that
not true currently as foinindustry on their amazon store is selling them at £15.99 as like anyone would know to check there amazon store

    no deal lol

anyway he was polite and fast to respond lets see what they do about it

Ooh another first time poster signed up just to comment on this.

So you paid your money to the deals website. What happened then? Where did you go to order your onesie?
