Where does it say this?
"Where "Unlimited" mobile internet is NOT included as part of Pay monthly contract... customers can use Daily mobile internet for a maximum daily charge of 26p
...
"Unlimited" mobile internet is subject to a fair usage policy of 25MB per day, and then subject to a charge of 10p per MB thereafter."
Obviously, "Unlimited" mobile internet is not included as part of 500Mb contract. It's very confusing, but sounds like 10p applies to 'Unlimited' and 26p to all other tariffs.
Apologies, you are correct - the 25mb cap applies on both but if it's not an unlimited deal (talkmobile don't seem to offer u/l data anymore) then the mb charge is 26p. Which woulod make the OPs bill even more horrendous! I think it's absolutely clear that, unless some changes are made with regard to data usage, talkmobile would be a no go here.
PS It really IS confusing because when I got my HTC One S/unlimited data deal talkmobile stated there was no FUP in place at that time - so truly U/L.Unlimited Internet (included in tariff allowance)
Some Pay Monthly contracts include "Unlimited" data access as part of the tariff allowance.
There is no limit on mobile internet usage on contracts which include "Unlimited" data access. However if we feel that your data usage is so excessive that other customers are detrimentally affected and/or we are concerned about fraud, we may introduce a fair use policy. If we publish a policy we will let you know. Any such policy may change from time to time, including where we introduce new Services which may require certain rules to ensure such new Services can be enjoyed by our customers. If, once we have implemented such a policy, your use of the Service is excessive, is causing problems for other users and you continue to use the Service excessively we may suspend all or some of the Services.0 -

25Mb FUP and 10p/MB seem to apply to 'Unlimited' only, although 25Mb daily limit is a mockery of 'unlimited'.0 -

Ahh I'd missed your earlier post edit. I tried twice, Monday night and last night. Neither sim has credit on, but the voda gets 3/5bars and the o2 get nothing. Looking at the 3 website, I doubt they'll get signal as it's very sparse in Cumbria but do know there working on the network here.
I was aware they were going to signal share for 4G but wasn't aware they would for 3G too, that is handy to know.
We have considered retaining our u/l plan and buying a compatible signal booster, it maybe worth exploring that idea again as T-Mob won't provide one for security reasons, unlike voda with sure signal.Roll on DFD, final payment 1st October 2017 :beer:0 -
I think you are misreading this again. 26p is the daily charge, not per a MB.
Yes, I think I need to have a lie down in a darkened roomAs talkmobile no longer do u/l data deals do they mean 26p per day is for 25mb then there's a charge per mb after that? Or is the offer 500mb per month and when that's reached it's 26p per day thereafter with no cap on daily usage? I can't see that being correct either. I'm normally pretty good with T&Cs but this one has me stumped, i have to say

Good bit of insight there thanks
Off topic, but have you played with the Nexus4 yet?
I'm patiently waiting on a formal response from talkmobile, but popped into CPW store and they are sure it's 10p/MB with no cap on usage. They've not come across the 26p limit which sounds like it's only on older contracts.

It's my son's, he's already smitten with it and bigger than me so I've only had a short play with itIt's as fast as a very fast thing from Planet Fast, the screen is lovely and it's not as big/cumbersome as I thought it would be. I've surprised myself because I want one now (always thought phones this size are no good for everyday use but changed my mind today!) Has to be one of the best android bargains around.

Signal boosters is tonight's mission, weigh up that option in lieu of new sims.

They've got details of their various signal boosters/boxes on the business part of their website.
