Have you never had a Twitter win?

Going to throw another spanner in the works, as said previously when I was doing 1 original RT only I won 1 prize in 4 months, so I started spamming with C&P and began winning regularly, not biggies but regular wins.
Then I read the article and tested out RT at last minute so I was in last 25 promoter could see, won 2, possibly if not probably luck of the draw.
Last few days have gone back to company RT only as I find them, with very few C&P, except where they are asking you to tweet a certain hashtag which I have done several times daily. Not won any via C&P (so far), but all wins so far this month in my signature are from Twitter since 1st February, and all from an original company RT.
My conclusion, we shall never know how Twitter comps work!

I have been quite lucky on twitter, but I have over 45,000 tweets, so I do think a lot of it is just a numbers game. If you enter enough, you should win some. some of the people I follow that I see win regularly have done about 150,000 tweets.

Well the blog makes interesting reading re how RTs work.

Now here is more food for thought. On Fridays @tropicskincare run their Fri RT comp. This weeks winner also makes interesting reading. Absolutely no RTs not a single one and all her tweets look like they are automated. A few of us have asked the question as to how they pick their winners but as yet no reply.

twitter`s not been hugely successful for me either although ive had a couple wins, first one was only 4 days into using twitter aswell fair raised my hopes lol!! can i ask when you talk about c&p do you mean copying the the actual tweet that youve retweeted and posting that as a separate tweet also? (hope that made sense!) it is frustrating having read stuff in this thread to know there`s a lot of companies not doing things right i certainly dont wanna start thinking about how much of my entries have been overlooked. :-(

Yep that's right, make sure to type RT and the company's name before the copy and paste.

So it should look something like this:

RT @Keepingkalms What better way to spend Valentine's than giving yourself a good pamper. RT+follow @KeepingKalms to #win a pamper kit on us

I tried C&P as an experiment. After my first retweet, I got the message "Oooops, you have already sent that tweet". Is this because I didn't insert "RT" before the @ address?
