When you say spam are you talking 10s, 100s 1000s of tweets?

I think the most I've ever managed is 5 or 6, I usually forget or don't have time:)

Perhaps twitter is not really for me.

I've had one win in two years and I still don't really understand how they pick the winners (athough that article is brilliant).

If you keep spamming an account and/or hash tag with 100's of tweets, you're probably going to go to Twitter jail or get your account suspended.

I managed to get my account suspended just by doing Rafflecopter entries from a blog that was running several comps all at once just by doing the tweet entries for that day.

never won anything at all on twitter and enter lots! No idea why but I guess I'll keep trying. I do think it's slightly odd how you always see the same names winning though

It will certainly make me think about whether it really is worth doing the Twitter comps now.

It certainly seems that it when you click on the retweets of the tweet only around 25 show :undecided

I did have a twitter win but I had a convo exchange on twitter with the person doing the comp so that probably influenced my win then.

Not 100's or 1000's, but I tend to do 2 or 3 a day every day until it ends, sometimes more if it's something I really like.

Must admit I do go to jail quite often, and it's a pain now as it's a 2 hour ban when before it was just an hour. Never had my account suspended but know a few compers who have.
