    Hello all!

I had a real 'Pink Candle' moment last night, I have a case of all the make-up I currently use and a large bag of make-up waiting to be used plus a few extras of my frequently used things.

After watching the video of the girl with all that make-up, and deciding life was too short not to use what I had, I have decanted ALL my make-up into the main case, except for a few darker foundations I use only in the summer and the aforementioned extras of my regular items.

Now why didn't I do this before? :D

A!di have quite a few toiletry-related buys in this week's Sunday Specials. Too many to list individually but they include Remington electricals (inc. straighteners) and some new Lacura products
    Aldi specials.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

    I also have a UU...Clean & Clear Deep action facial wipes x 25

WBA as they were very refreshing and did a lovely deep-clean when I used them.

  • Hello everyone! Firstly so sorry to hear your bad news McCulloch and Rosemary, my thoughts are with you. Moromir, I'm glad you've managed to get most of the blood out and hopefully you won't have a repeat the next time. Happy birthday to VALM and TrudiJ I hope you both enjoyed your days. Hugs to all who need them. I remember how much the messages on here meant to me a few weeks ago after my car crash, hopefully you'll all know mine and everyone else on this lovely thread's thoughts are with you. It's just so nice to know there's no judgement and such supportive people you only know via the internet.

Had a crazily busy few weeks so apologies for the no show again. I've had a few UU including:
Alberto Balsam Coconut and Lychee Shampoo 200ml WBA it's really cheap (about 90p on offer) and does the job replaced with a mammoth Tresemme.

Carex Chocolate Orange Handwash WBA, so many people have complimented this when they've used the loo at my house due to the scent - like a Terry's Chocolate Orange and is often 2 for £3 in the supermarket!

Dove Silk Glow Body Wash 500ml WBA on offer, it lasts for ages, quite moisturising and when on offer it's great value as it's most definitely a LHJ - be warned!

Nspa The Sweet Shop Shower Gel Lemon 100ml. Got this as a Christmas present as part of a set and WNBA as it's too 'gelly' and I prefer more creamy based shower washes.

Am going to attempt to sell a few bits on eBay this week - I'll let you know if I'm successful! So happy it's the weekend :D time for a bit of pampering and stash reducing methinks! Has anyone got any nice plans this weekend?
Saving for our wedding July 2013!
  • Two UUs:

Acqua di Parma blue Mediterranean perfume sample: WIB? Yes, on my list of perfumes to purchase once I finish my current stash. Nice lasting fragance without being too sickly sweet.

Poundland 3 -in one make up remover wipes.

One in: One topcoat purchased in the 99p store.
  • And some more UU

    from my husbands travel bag
Radox shower gel - WBA cheap and does the job
Mouthwash - WBA cheap as he flies through these at a rate of knots
Elvive nutri gloss (i think) conditioner - WBA perfect lightweight conditioner even on my DD fine hair.

Have some more items spluttering so hopefully some more UU before the end of the month
    No more buying toiletries

    BodyShop Peppermint Reviving Foot Soak

WBA - I love mint and my feet need all the help they can get :D

    Have another 2 UU to report;

Skin 79 VIP Gold BB Cream - WBA, it's perfect for an everyday "foundation" to even out my skin for work. Have the pink version ready and waiting to use but I prefer the Gold version and will re-purchase it when I finish the pink one.

Lush Twilight 250g shower gel - WBA, loved the scent (a lavender / malty concoction) but it was limited edition. It may have cost me £8 for a bottle but it has lasted almost 5 months! Have a couple of minis from Christmas gifts to use now but will probably buy another Lush shower gel when I'm completely out since they last so long and smell so good!

Have gone over a year without buying makeup and now I'm starting to actually make a dent in things. Have 9 items that I've hit pan on and a few of those will need to be repurchased as I don't have anything in the stash to replace them!

Wow, going a year without buying makeup is very impressive. I love makeup, I wasn't a girly girl as a child or teenager but I am making up for it now and can't resist the pretty colours and packaging. I have enough of some makeup items to last several years but still have my eye on the new MUA Undress Me Too pallette, (would have one already if I could find one in stock), I love my Heaven & Earth and Undressed Pallette but do not need any more neutrals.

Have a lovely weekend everyone, we are expecting a bit of snow today.
