Rosemary, I sell jewellery on etsy and folksy. Much better than ebay. If you want help setting up, look me up, I'm The Magpie's Daughter.
But yes, you'll have to take photos.
So sorry to hear about everyone's troubles. *big hooge snuggles for all*0 -

Went into the nearest Poundland as the Poundland thread had mentioned Andrew Collinge conditioners being in.
I use up twice as much conditioner as shampoo, so I'm always on the lookout for good quality conditioners at bargain prices. I was lucky!
So an IN -:j - Andrew Collinge Purity Volume Therapy sulphate -free conditioner for fine, limp hair. I think it's been withdrawn now, but the only price reference I could find was £4.99. So a really good buy.
They also had a same make variant for dry, damaged hair.
Also IN - Pure Exfoliating Wipes pack of 20 x 2, also for a quid, same source. This was due to a UU of Wilko Everyday Facial Wipes (yellow packet).
WIBA? Yes, cheap as chips but does the job well, I just wanted an exfoliating one as my skin has got a little dull over winter.
My Avon order never materialised so I bought a Bio Oil type product - 'Rescue Oil'.
I don't wear make up apart from lipstick - eyes too deep set for eye make up and skin looks better without foundation. But I did pick up a Rimmel Mocha Cream lipstick - quite a strong brown - in Poundland. Really vibrant purple metallic case that is easy to spot.
They had various Rimmel bits and pieces but most products were their own 'Chit-Chat' line.
Something I noticed going round the shop - some very well-dressed customers, picking up the brand name products - especially medications and cleaning materials.
I also focus on brand names as my 'best buys' in PL - I bought some Garnier hair putty for DS, Soreen malt loaves x 2, Cadbury's Brunch Bars, Maoam fruit chews and some Scholl support socks as well as the toiletries.
Plus a BBC 'book of the TV series' on The Truth About Food - and one on the Badminton Horse Trials.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

Wise words! I love Folksy. Not heard of Etsy before but will have to check that out now :rotfl:
Counted up my nail varnish stash today and at first count I had 46 polishes (including minis) :eek: sounds like a lot but the tin I have them in isn't full so I don't feel so bad :j
After going through them all and adding in my latest INS I now have 50 :rotfl:
2 TAs:
18: Nails Inc Paradise Walk 4ml
19: Natural Collection Red Robin 8ml
Had to throw these away because they had gone gloopy and funny.
6 nail varnish INS (which I hadn't previously declared because I hadn't counted up my stash)
9-11: 3 x Nails Inc polishes from my swap buddy (St James, Warwick Avenue, Motcomb Street - all 10ml)
12: Nails Inc Matte in Heathrow 10ml
13: Barry M Textured in Ridley Road 10ml
14: W7 in Salt n Pepper 15ml
Really excited to try out the matte and textured polishes as have never used these before. All of the INS were technically freebies apart from 1 as I used a voucher that I earnt from doing surveys.
I found it difficult to decide whether to include nail varnishes in the stash or not, because I technically don't want to use these up or reduce the amount of them! I like to have a choice. Decided to include though so that I don't go too over the top!0 -
Have another 2 UU to report;
Skin 79 VIP Gold BB Cream - WBA, it's perfect for an everyday "foundation" to even out my skin for work. Have the pink version ready and waiting to use but I prefer the Gold version and will re-purchase it when I finish the pink one.
Lush Twilight 250g shower gel - WBA, loved the scent (a lavender / malty concoction) but it was limited edition. It may have cost me £8 for a bottle but it has lasted almost 5 months! Have a couple of minis from Christmas gifts to use now but will probably buy another Lush shower gel when I'm completely out since they last so long and smell so good!
Have gone over a year without buying makeup and now I'm starting to actually make a dent in things. Have 9 items that I've hit pan on and a few of those will need to be repurchased as I don't have anything in the stash to replace them!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
