No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in Feb

I use up all the smaller bottles and samples first and keep the largest to last if its for hair or body items regardless of the date purchased because that way I get througj them quicker and less likely to sicken myself using what seems like the same product forever. I would rather have a 1 litre bottle cluttering up than 10 x 100ml bottles. I use the date purchased first for facial items though.0

Couple of UU - a Rimmel BB cream sample and a tin of vaseline lip balm. Just started on a banana anatomics one and i'm impressed with it so will not be getting another vaseline one. As for the BB cream, i was not impressed.0

Having just finished my current conditioner bottle, I'm now deciding which one to open next. In this situation, what would you do?
a) open up the very large bottle of conditioner bought in 2010? (on the basis that this is the largest bottle you own and you need to get through it even if it will take probably the rest of the year)
or
b) open up the small sample bottle of conditioner bought in 2009?
(on the basis that this is the oldest bottle in your stash despite also being the smallest)
It's not a simple thing, this toiletry business!
This is the exact kind of question I find myself asking myself! So I would start on a but when I start to get fed up with a in a few months time then open up b to give me a change and once its a UU it will give me a little boost to continue on with the mega a bottle!

Another UU an Imperial Leather shower gel, well actually DBF used it. Quite good to be living at 2 addresses, definitely helps UU items.
I have put into the shower a BS Eco friendly shower gel, sorry can't remember the right name of it but reports on here don't like it so will be interesting to try it. I got it free through one of the BS many offersLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
UU - Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, 100ml - still my HG cleanser as I haven't got round to trying the Superslug version yet. It seems my last UU of this was in the last week of November so it's lasted me over 2 months! Very MSE
I have a few splutterers that have been cut open so hope to have more UUs this weekDecluttering 2015: 2162/20150 -
Thank you luce. I've applied for one. Emma loves these. xThank you ladies, your thoughts are much appreciated. I'm feeling much better now the house is warm and the water is back on, last night I really was in despair, I'm a terrible worrier. I've a trip to the solicitors tomorrow and a meeting with the landlord on Thursday which I'm not looking forward to but OH will be with me for moral support (my flat, not his) and at least I should be forewarned of where I stand and what my rights are. An early night beckons xx
Hope all goes well with your Landlord tomorrow. It's good that you have sought legal advice first. xCatriona_P wrote: »Question for you ladies!

Open the oldest one first. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

A very diverse response to my questions there ladies
I quite like miclare's idea of starting on the larger bottle then occasionally use the smaller one to break up the monotony. Thinking about it I also have several trips to do this summer (3 weddings, one hen do already planned!) so I can take the smaller bottle away on those trips
Thanks ladies, large bottle it is! (for now)
Hope tomorrow goes ok emsjune, fingers crossed."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -

I think you mean Earth Lovers, I don't rate them personally, the scents are a bit weird and they're very runny, you don't get much bang for your buck so to speak! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

That's exactly what I would do-open the large one knowing I can use the smaller if I get bored/need a change. I often find myself riflling through my stash to find a small or single use product in order to change things up a little0
