UU BS Sweet pea duo body butter. First try of one of these duos, not sure which side was which but preferred the more solid cream it rubbed in better.

The more solid one is for the very dry skin, I'm just getting the end of my first pot, I've used all the solid one and the other one is driving me mad, I know what you mean, it takes AGES to rub in but the smell is lovely!

Emsjune - hope you get sorted with your landlord. Don't be bullied.

And - We had snow yesterday and overnight Monday. It was one long blizzard yesterday but was very wet so didn't settle. Not a trace of it today though.

Have a TA today - Revlon Kissable stain and balm, this is a felt pen type stain on one end and a balm on the other. It is rubbish, I could never get the stain to be even and the balm bit broke off completely.

def a pink candle day today as yesterday found out a friend is very ill and the future does not look promising, trying to help his girlfriend as much as I can but what can you do!!?went and cuddled OH when I heard the news.Makes me more determined not to buy un neccessary toiletries and use the money save to have good times with family instead.
those who believe please say a prayer for Terry and Liz today
  • Emsjune - good luck for the meeting with your landlord.

Rosemary - so sorry about your friends, I'm not a believer but I will be thinking of them.

Will have to buy deodorant and toothpaste this evening - not a problem in itself as I need both - will just have to watch I don't buy anything else at the same time!

So sorry, prayer and many positive thoughts on their way through the ether. As you might imagine, my recent family illness has pushed me even further down this road, not saying I won't buy anything, but only after much thought now, and after leaving it a while to make sure I really, really want to buy it.
Hugs to you and your friends.

Emsjune - I hope all goes well with your meeting, echo all that has been said before, deep breath, be quietly firm and don't take any rubbish from landlord. Dodgy hugs. :grouphug:

Had a TA - some glittery Lush soap. I was given this as a gift, but WNBA - I always try and like Lush stuff but I'm never that keen for some reason?

But was very bad today and had an IN - Japonesque eye brush, £3 in Boots down from £12.75. Have wanted to try this line for ages and paid for it in points so it could be worse perhaps?

Have managed to avoid buying all sorts today - the Selfridge box, the No7 mascara offer...gosh even avoided going into the pound shop so I wouldn't accidentally buy something I didn't need!

    Hope everyone's ok!

Oh Rosemary... I am so sorry. Wishing your dear friends both strength and comfort now and in difficult days to come.

Dolly, our snow went really quickly too. Just as well, DS had to drive in a blizzard to work, and said it was quite scary.
He is normally fairly blase but he went off the road in similar conditions the other week and had to be retrieved by a 4 x 4, so I think that knocked his confidence a bit.
Two smallish UU's - the Boots Gorgeous Feet Foot Soak and Foot Cream that were a Christmas gift. Both jars in the recycling, and just one or two more uses of the foot scrub left.
    WIB?
I have a feeling this was a re-gift, as the product doesn't now appear on the Boots site. The foot cream was indeed gorgeous and I would happily spend some points on it. The foot soak was fragrant but a bit weird, an odd syrupy consistency with no indication of how much to use.

I've so enjoyed my foot soaks that I fully intend to continue; as I can't bathe due to arthritis and prefer showers anyway, using up bath related gifts is always a problem.

I had an Astor one of these, glad I only paid £3 for it. The stain was fine but I literally COULDN'T get it off! Not a massive problem normally as you can always put lippie over it, but this was a very dark red and very noticeable!

rosemary54 - So sorry to hear your friend is ill, I hope things start to look more positive for him xx

I recommend Real Techniques, expensive-ish but worth every penny, they're so soft!
