Any other end date compers that hate the new end date change

The new End Date still shows in title, just that it's at the bottom.
You can still sort by thread title, ascending, that hasn't changed.
What's the problem?
In my post in THIS thread, I have suggested that the new date could be made more noticeable but apart from that I think this could be an improvement. I comp by latest posted and sort by Thread Start Time, Descending

The button doesn't actually WORK though Bob - even for comps in the new "correct" format. I tried it and I've got all the days together but jumbled up months. So I'll have 23rd Jan next to 23rd May then one from April then back to Jan etc. Useless

Nobody had an issue with how it was, it was really easy to use and if people couldn't be bothered to read the comping guides then they shouldn't be comping.

The problems is that nobody understands WHY this change has been effected. Nobody asked for it, nobody wanted it. :mad:

IF it has happened simply because of the Loquax influx then I will be furious because the reason I DIDN'T use Loquax was because I couldn't understand their system. Most of the ducks members seemed to be adjusting nicely to the MSE format anyway.

im not an end date comper and i hate it

its ruining the forum, it looks messy, it makes it hard for me to see when things are ending, you dont know the time things are ending

Always comp by end date and that used to show the ones ending today that have been most recently posted.
Like Twitter comps?
Tried the new 'sort by end date' and they are all lumped together?
How can I find comps posted today that end today? anyone please.

I might be going a bit mental in my over-tired state but if I recall correctly, when the initial discussions were taking place over a new format, was one of the reasons for it so that when a comp ended it would just 'move' automatically and no longer be on main board?

Or am I thinking about that End Date sorting list thing(which didn't even work at the time)?!

If it's the former, I imagine that's a big chunk of BG's work gone. Hmmm....

Either way it's pretty poor. I'm getting something similar at work, don't really expect to get it in a hobby too! Still, there's always other jobs/comp sites (depending on where I am at the time)

I "Think" once all comps are posted in the new way it should be much better. We're at a bit of a crossroads at the moment with half the comps still posted without a new date so it's making things a little awkward to say the least.

Give it a go, it'll get better as the old ones end
