Being using one at work - battery life is shocking - the rest is interesting but nothing that would get someone to swap from either android or iOS.

How did you get one so quickly??????

There are actually a lot of blackberry devices floating about - they were seeded to various organisations under NDAs - many places and journalists have had them for a week or so, many have had them for longer.

I had a look at one in the O2 shop, it's out on display already but they didn't have the experia z :( the Z10 is a nice looking handset, not sure why the media are whining about learning curve, was a doddle to use.

I also had a look at one in Phones4u today. Anyone want to buy a Galaxy S3? :D
  • Give me Pocket planes, Tiny tower and Sky go and i'm in!
BBM and email and the UI are unrivalled imo but it does need the aps that are available on android to succeed.

I'm kinda interested - I've used lost of BBs over the last 7 years, but last phone was an iPhone - I've just gone back to a 9900 as I miss the keyboard, so the Q10 could be a good device for me. I'm not sure about the OS though - the reviews I've read make it seem complicated - maybe it's harder to describe it than do it?

Shame so many of the apps are Android ports - from what I've read they don't run at full speed, and have android style menus, which is a bit odd, but at least they are there.

I hope it does well for them, competition is never a bad thing!
  • If this had dual sim capability that'd be a winner, many users will be corporate, would be a good option to be able to add a second personal sim, otherwise many users end up carrying an apple or android for personal use, with the bb for company use. Would be the natural next step given they've gone to great pains to seperate the enterprise and personal elements in the phone
