Hi I applied for the home front discount last year and was given a reference number and I have still not recieved a payment on my account, I have phoned Scottish Power and was told that I should recieve the payment due to my son's severe disability but it still hasn't been recieved and I am now in debit on my bill, and I am worried about putting the heating on now, but know I have to for my son, would you be able to help David? It would put my mind at rest if I new it was going to be credited to my account.
I am with scottish power, and for the credit to show you must submit meter readings and have a new bill issued

    Hi
I applied for WHD online and got a reference number but as it is now 1st April and it says you should receive it by 31 march does that mean i don't qualify and will i receive an email or letter to say i will or won't get it. I have a pre pay metre so not sure what happens

Can the SP rep report what proportion of warm front claimants have been paid, and what the cause of any delays is?

The discount has not been applied to my account, so I have emailed social@scottishpower (as suggested by David in the post above).

I have just switched to SP and emailed them about me going on this scheme in the middle of march.I got a reply saying "You can apply for the same with us once your supplies have been activated." My email informing switchover is complete was sent to me on 29th march. Can i now apply?

Just a note to say that I have had an e-mail from SP confirming that the discount has been applied to my account and that it will show up on my next bill.

As a side note - I have to say that I have been very impressed with the prompt replies and excellent customer service that I have received from SP David and his team. It is a breath of fresh air after my appalling experience with BG customer service (which triggered the move to SP). So well done, and thank you to the SP CS Team!
