What do you eat for a sweet treat when on a diet?

Dark chocolate. I buy myself a really small bar of ultra dark chocolate and break off a square whenever I feel the need for some indulgence. Like Lilith1980 above, the Lindt 90% cocoa dark chocolate is absolute bliss for me - the darker the better - and you only need one square maximum.

Mini/Fun Size bars of chocolate are very useful when on a diet - especially if you keep the bag in the freezer
.
Also can second the 'Pink & Whites'!
For a Chocaholic - how about Choc Chip Snack A Jack's - very scrummy indeed; they also have a Caramel version for the 'Toffee Addicts'.0 -
Also, I like to slice an apple really thinly, spread it out on a baking tray and sprinkle with a teaspoon of brown sugar and plenty of cinnamon, and bake on low (160ish) for around 20-25 mins... They end up like a sweet crisp

Sounds tasty - only mind your teeth - I discovered too late that the chocolate (from a box of chocolates) I'd bitten into, expecting it to be relatively soft, contained rock-hard toffee, on which I managed to break a tooth ... definitely not MSE, apart from quite unpleasant!:eek:Life is mainly froth and bubble

Thanks for that Snowleopard61. I have done exactly the same as you before, so I am very wary now!
