On to their last one... hope that you did not continue to faff.... :)
  • Haha no I didn't buy it - holding out - preferably for a new one. My phone has now died on me too - technology doesn't like me :(

So pay more and buy a new one...
Pretty dumb if you ask me.
You had the chance to look at it, to decide if it was 'new' enough for you.
You could reject it for a full refund if you didn't like it.
You have exactly the same warranty as if you bought it new from the retailer.
So you had a no risk opportunity and....

Try to be a bit smarter... Take a look at this Toshiba Satellite C850-10C for £229.99

£30 more for an extra 2GB of RAM and 320GB more storage space.

I really wouldn't mind if you had an intelligent reason for hesitating....

Hmm now what is that old saying - ah yes - a fool and their money are easily parted. Some people want more than 20 hours to consider their purchase. In addition, I came for advice on potential options - to research what would suit me best.

As for intelligent reason not too - in 7 days any problems might not surface - I then lose the right to return. As for the warranty - that means nothing to me unless I have the full terms and conditions - which were not mentioned. I do not want to replace one faulty machine for (potentially) someone else's faulty machine.

Completely agree with closed - sales would suit you if you're not already in it - perhaps you should lay off attempting to insult customers though ;)

Oh, and just out of interest - are you getting commission on second hand Toshiba's?

Hated sales jobs...as I will only sell something that I believe is a genuine bargain. ;)
