It's in North Chingford - which I love. Better than Highams Park.

Have to walk up the whole High Street to reach the station, but it's only 0.7m door to door, and it'll be a nice option to stop for food on the way home with my BF on the odd occasion. Nice Indian, Italian, couple of lovely bistros, a Prezzo at the end of 'my' road, and a great chippy apparently! No idea what the pubs are like (only been to the big one opposite the station), but am sure we'll have fun trying them out :D

Very excited. House needs lots of love, but I have vision for it (the only one that's really felt like mine).

Fingers crossed all goes to plan and the survey doesn't show up anything horrendous! It's got a new roof and boiler, the windows look good, as does the electrics. Just needs a bit of decorating, and the kitchen/utility can be sorted out when I have the dosh.

Got it £26k under the asking price, so very happy. Wouldn't have wanted to pay more as it was overpriced (which I think is why it wasn't shifting).

Good luck to anyone else looking!

    So happy for you :)

You've also got Chongs the chinese and there's a nice pub at the top of Kings Head Hill that's being refurbished at the moment!

Thanks for the recommendations! Have yet to try Chongs, but it looks nice. Love Table 7. Definitely looking forward to trying the pub! Think I know which one you mean (Kings Head?).

It's lovely, they do this menu where you can keep ordering for one set price. I've never been to Table 7, will have to check it out. Belgique is also good for lunch.

Yes, The Kings Head, although the one further down has also been refurbished and looks nice. Let me know if you need a drinking buddy!!
