    evening!

I just popped on to say that today is the 2nd anniversary of our dear friend Divas death.:(
A lot of you remember her I know, I still get a little tearful remembering her lovely posts and how supportive she was to me when a friend was very ill. There is a plaque in memory of her on a bench on Paignton seafront which is a lovely idea.

Today is also my DS1s 23rd birthday - the first one I havent seen him on - he's working so I'll give him a ring later.

Tomorrow DS2 is moving out - my last chick to fly the nest.

OS - made bubble and squeak for tea which was yummy:)

not a lot else to report, (((hugs))) to those in need x
    Do what you love :happyhear

Parsley, chives, oregano and coriander all grow really well from seeds. We also grow indoor rocket and just take thinnings for baby leaf salad.

I have seen lots of seeds recently in HB, B&M and the Pound shop.
Great, thanks; that's just the sort of info I need. I love oregano; and confirmation that chives will work has made my day (see, I'm easily satisfied):D

Taplady I can't believe it really is two years ,where does the time fly too.I have lots of her recipes in my online cook book and she was such a lovely person .So where ever you are you are not forgotten Diva

Well Keith did a smashing job on Tessa's sink and taps and she's just phoned to say how pleased she is at how it looks .Bless her she has had a leaky sink and taps for so long she's forgotten what a proper one should be like :):)
DGD Holly is taking me out for lunch tomorrow,so that will be nice and my sis-in-law in faversham is coming for the weekend and we are going out on Saturday night for dinner, so I will be a proper little social butterfly this week.
Still windy and rainy and horribly gusty weather at the moment but the forecast is that it will dry up tomorrow.
have a good evening everyone whatever you are doing

    RIP Diva

Still very cold here although I suppose 10c is not too bad, lots of rain to make sure that none of us become dehydrated!

Had a visit from friends this morning....he has liver cancer and is being maintained by chemo, but is very positive and is even taking part in a play in our local dram soc next month....chemo is causing a very uncomfortable rash which is all over and not being helped by anything consultant recommends, we had a nice chat.

Going to babysit DGS2 while Mammy goes to yoga, she broke her pelvis 13 years ago and had a bad fall in November ( heels of course!), finds yoga is helping...only thing is that we tend to talk when she comes home and I am not up for late nights nowadays.

Roast pork with mixture of veg from bottom of fridge and baked potatoes tonight for dinner, very nice with sponge pudding and ice-cream....need that like I need a hole in the head!

Hugs to all in need or want of one, stay safe and warm

    Evening
Wet and windy here, was glad to be at work all day, didnt have to be out in it or at home cold. Ordered DS a warm top in sale which arrived today, he really likes it, am glad as he might spend less time in christmas onesie when he is at home he is growing out of everything fast, now wears mens clothes.
OS had burger and chip tea, then loaded DW not enough in it to put on yet. Washing still on airer, stood it in front of lounge window, hoped sun would warm and air it, suppose I should be happy I am so optimistic :)
WM will go on tomorrow when I have full load. Lunch today was HM pizza, will probably just make myself a sandwich or cuppa soup for tomorrow. Not done a lot else but not been here to make a mess either!

  • Evening all

    (((((hugs)))) to all in need

Another work day flown by! Visits this morning to the school we are building our next greenhouse in, then to our cabin to do some problem solving games and menu planning for our residential trip next week. Fair play the work kids didn't complain about the rain, and they were quite civilised in making the menu choices.

Since I've been home I've dyed my hair, washed dishes, made dinner, tidied house, cleaned kitchen and bathroom, sorted recycling and put some bits in freezer.

Tv and sofa time now :D

    Have a good evening all
