Could happily give up the Mobile, as to giving up Foreign Holidays, Hell NO. I am lucky, I get 2-3 foreign Holidays a year and a number of work trips that I extend by a day or 3.
Its my sweet release escaping this country for a few days, and experiencing the world.0 -
I haven't had any kind of holiday since 1985, plus only just bought my second ever mobile phone, TV thesedays is complete moronic rubbish. So the only worthwhile thing on that list for me is the multi purpose computer with an internet connection which I use for absolutely everything I can think of!0

I don't know if its been posted before but my guess is that a lot of people would give up a foreign holiday because they don't get one anyway...0

Oh my goodness I'd never give up my holidays EVER, I would give up mobile and TV without a second thought cos I never watch TV and use a mobile about once every 2 months, computer and foreign holidays I could NOT though0

So many people don't take holidays - I find that shocking I take 5 a year! I live in a horrible dump so I have to get away from it regularly, to remind me that LEWISHAM in SOuth London is not all the world offers, if I lived in a beautiful/serene place I might be less inclined to escpae as much as I do.0

Not wanting to sound flippant as that isn't my intention. But if you didn't take 5 holidays a year for a little while, would you be able to afford to move somewhere that you like more? Then you might not feel the need to run away from it as often? (Not that there's anything wrong with holidaying as much as you like!)May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Agree with whoever said that people that voted living without holidays abroad, probably don't have them anyway, so its a bit misleading.
I would say mobile cos it annoys me how much I rely on it and how everyone can get in touch with me. I know for a fact, if I suddenly didn't have one, it would be quite a relief but I have come to rely on it.
Love a bit of telly and the internet and try to have one foreign holiday a year, funds willing, and look forward to that so much, just love travelling. I would holiday in this country more but the weather usually spoils it.A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition~ William Arthur Ward ~0
