I have an iphone 4 had it nearly 24 months contract isnt up til Sept 13 but can apply for upgrade in June 13.. However orange cannot offer me what I want. Currently paying £36 per month.
I want either a Samsung Galaxy 2 or 3 and can get them for around £20 per month with the bundle I want.
I am a very impatient person and cannot wait til sept 13. Is it such a bad idea to go ahead and get a new contract now.
Thanks

Its your money, how you waste it is up to you.
But I doubt you're going to find many people on a money saving forum who thinks its a good idea0 -
If you are that impatient you really shouldn't go anywhere near 24 month contracts! Think about buying the phone outright and using it with your existing contract then look for a 30 day SIM deal after it has expired. That has to be more sensible than taking out a 24 month contract then paying an 8 month penalty to get out of it when you get bored.0

I'm not sure they'll understand the word "sensible".0

a new s2 is gonna cost me nearly £250 if not more. the contract of 15.50 per month for 24 month is gonna be cheaper than buying the phone and then adding a monthly sim cost to it.

S3 for 24x£15.50? I don't think that you'll find such a contract, but even if you will it'll be likely to be with some ridiculously small amount of airtime.
£250 is far too optimistic price even for grey import with doubtful warranty.0 -

I missed that you considered S2 as well.
I guess in 12 months we'll see another poll when you get bored with this 'new' phone with 12 months left of the new contract.0
