February's has been spent on Eurostar tickets to Paris, March's will be spending money in Paris :D

We pay water rates over 8 months Dec & Jan went towards Christmas, Feb & March will go towards above trip.

We usually save it to go towards our summer holidays but DH has none allocated in any of the school holidays this year so it'll be 3-4 long weekends away instead for us this year.

Instead of buying each other Xmas presses as money was really tight this Xmas we decided we would use the money from one month to pay for a night in a nice hotel somewhere, and the other will pay off a bit of the credit card.

Like others, the same amount goes into the bills account each month - one twelfth of the total we pay out plus 5% for emergencies and price hikes ;) so no different to any other month for us.

We do the monthly bill account for household bills, except council tax, so we'll have two 'free' months.

However, we have two car services in Feb and March, so the money will go towards that.

Have you looked at the Legacy Inns deal (if you don't mind going midweek?) We went to the one in Lewes for our wedding anniversary and for £140 we got 2 nights plus breakfast and evening meal included. I can't remember if I mentioned it was our anniversary when I booked but they gave us their best room with 4 poster bed etc :)
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10

I've used February's to stock up the freezer as we'd been living out of it since November. March's will go towards debt, as the grocery bill will be lower.

Feb & March are normally the payment free months.

    Of course they are!

All may not be lost Raq, if you're paying at the end of the month instead of the beginning you may still get your 2 payment free months on 21st Feb and 21st March. Most people pay on the 1st of the month, which is why we're all getting our payment free months on 1st Feb & 1st Mar, you're 3 weeks 'behind' us all.
