Mellissa I have been onto the habitus site and it is excellent ,I will ring them today and ask them to arrange a survey.
Did your move go well what problems did you have.
I feel OK about the mortgage now,I wasn't sure how much I would need,and if I would be able to do it with my salary.
I have read Martin's article and it mentions things that I would never have done ,I usually go with the first person.0 -

lots of quickly edited posts just like someone else. Attempt to hint that MM is PM ing the OP. Just a time waster in my opinion.
Of course if I am wrong then the OP should take up Kenshaz's offer of the BEST rates as with a statement like that he has to deliver. Carlsberg use the word Probably so they dont have to prove their lager is best

Don't be sucked into this you saw the email from Martin. We both know bookworm is just Kenshazs' alias trying to make me out to be a rule breaking touting villain. Probably an attempt to neutralise the glowing reference on of my clients gave me on here the other day, and the fact another forum user openly requested my services.
I'd like to see the PM I have alledgedly sent published. I do not PM forum users, in fact I continually report others where it have become evident that they have done so. This has been reported to abuse. I have also asked the moderators to look into my PM box for any evidence that I have done this.I am a Mortgage Adviser

Whether Bookworm is a wind up agent or not, many lurkers may have had similar questions and been helped by the thread.
No need to be so defensive MM, no-one has actually accused you of anything have they? (And if this thread is true, and a mortgage broker did send a PM, they surely would have used a new ID rather than risk their own PM being outted!)I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. If the OP is genuine which I very much doubt then they should publish the PM and who it was allegedly from.Whether Bookworm is a wind up agent or not, many lurkers may have had similar questions and been helped by the thread.
Possibly true and probably not true. mortgage advice needs to be specific so just because some one is in a similar position doesnt mean the advice will be exactly the same
No need to be so defensive MM, no-one has actually accused you of anything have they?
No but there are strong insinuations deliberately designed to adversely affect her integrity. which is not very nice. I am sure you would not like it if I started making false insinuations about you and started attacking you on every thread.
(And if this thread is true, and a mortgage broker did send a PM, they surely would have used a new ID rather than risk their own PM being outted!
Once again you may be right but then Wardlaw was caught using his own PM
)
I am glad that Martin is now taking an interest in this part of the forum but I think he has to do more to cut the disruptive cancer from it because it is already clear that the standard of advice is going to fall because people are goaded in to squabbles all the time by idiots with their own petty agenda for this forumI like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. All these other posts are going over the top of my head ,do not know what they are talking about.
Would the people who helped me please come back.
I have spoken to habitus ,Melissa recommended them and they are saying that I should have a headline survey because of the size of age of the house,it checks for seriou structural defects and essential repairs.What did you have Mellissa and how much did you pay ,should I shop around on this as Martin's says about mortgages.0
