LOVING the knuckle trick, thank you!
That would be such a great thing for him to teach them.
How abut slicing a banana without peeling it? You push a pin through the skin and swoosh it from side to side, take it out, move it down a bit and repeat. Then when you peel it all the slices fall out. Kids seem to find this quite funny.
How to draw block capitals? Tie two felt tip pens together with an elastic band, hold them sort of at a diagonal angle then write so you end up with each letter twice and overlapping (one to the side and a bit higher or lower than the other). then you just join up the matching points of the letters (so the top of the letter A to the top of the letter A it overlaps, and so on). Sounds complicated, can't really explain it, but if you try it you'll see and it's very easy and looks good.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

Brilliant thread, DD is dyspraxic as well and we get things like this to do and my ridiculous brain only comes up up with juggling and things which is a total no go :rotfl:0

I second the how to make a paper aeroplane - because all you have to do is make 3 folds in a piece of a4 paper - fold it in half then fold the two sides back at the front to make a pointy nose. Everyone from the class will be able to join in if they have a piece of paper handed out to keep their attention and your son and everyone in the class should be able to easily manage this. He could also get everyone to write their names on them and have a little competition to see who's goes the furthest too."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." Paul Theroux0
