How to say hello in 10 languages

    How to impersonate a log?

How to knit (using big needles - obviously you'd need to cast on... But the old " in the rabbit hole, round the rabbit hole, through the rabbit hole and off" should be ok

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

I use the knuckles trick but never heard the 9x table one before - love it and have learnt something!

    A simple magic trick?

    That's a cool homework.

Someone was trying to explain the knuckle trick to me the other day and I could not get my head round it. I don't think they quite understood it themselves, which didn't help. I still use the old, '30 days has September, April, June and November' rhyme.

Wow, I've learnt two things now - the knuckles trick for months (I just remember the rhyme!) and the 9x table on fingers, which is quite delightful!!

I had a similar exercise on a training course about 15 years ago, I had to teach a task to a group of 4 people in 5 minutes. I got them to do fancy napkin folding.

I was thinking something like how to finger-spell his name... unless he's got a really really long double barrelled first name and surname in which case it might be more of a 30 minute job!
