Just thought i'd give you a up-date, i stopped searching, because i'd not been well.
so hubby went and got his own desktop.
he just went to our local computer store, he'd heard people say the guy is ok.
Can't remember the specs of the top of my head, but he got
500gig hard drive
8 gig memory
dvd reader/rewriter
amd dual core something processor
genuine windows 7 (got the disc in the box)
wireless
3 year gaurantee
He paid £259 for it.
don't know if we paid over the odds, or what but it was within our budjet, and it's much faster than the old one, which my s-i-l has taken to play about with.
thanks for all of your help
So far, i've just downloaded,
avast free anti virus
c cleaner
is there anything else i need to put on, bearing in mind it's just going to be used for general surfing of the net.0 -
