Evening all - big hugs to all those in need, and yippee to the end of a carpy era for you BDINI (although lovely of the nicer side to your work to show their appreciation) - hope the horrible boss got the cake that had been dropped on the floor ;)

As expected, yesterday wasn't a NSD, 'needed' to pick up a few bits in Sainsbobs due to £2 off £20 coupon expiring, incl razor blades for OH ( to the cost of those but hopefully that's him sorted for the year). Also got some nacho cheese Dorito dip while it was on offer - my little experiment next time I go to the flicks is to get a bag of cheap tortilla chips and then warm up some of the cheese sauce in the microwave before I go - and then see if it's anything like the cheese nachos I like from the cinema but don't buy often due to the price

also stopped by L!dl yesterday - queue was building then they opened another checkout which resulted in the usual bum fight of loads of people who were at the back of the queue getting served before us who were waiting still. Woman in front of me grumbling very loudly how 'THEY weren't even queuing before and they're getting served first' 'Oh, no one says anything to them' 'it's just so rude but that' because people in THOSE kind of countries aren't used to queuing'. Honestly, she was next to getting served - if she was that bothered she could have said something herself. I'd mind somewhere like A$da, but in Lid! and Ald! they move shoppers through so quickly you rarely have to wait long unless there's a transaction query.

Oh, nearly forgot in my rant...NSD #6 today :j Sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice for dins made mainly of freezer fodder :A

Thank you Candlewick, I've just got home from dropping him off, sore eyes is an understatement. :( but its nice that I'm able to drop him off. And baby bump became active so he had a goodbye from bab too. :D

No NSD for me again as picked up a valentines card to give to hubby before he left. Should be able to get back on track now.

Lots to do around the house tomorrow so hoping for a NSD.

    Hi ETO
Sending you a squishy (((hug))). Hope you and baby bump are both OK

    Hi everyone

Just been catching up on all the posts since Wednesday... you are a chatty lot:D:D

flubberyz - eek to the chicken bone, that sounds painful. Hope your throat is OK now x

Candlewick and flubberyz - sorry about your washing machines. It's not a good time for that to happen with the weather being so carp:(, hope your respective landlords manage to sort something out for you both.

marmite - hope you enjoy your weekend off x

Dragon - hope you feel better, a red nose isn't a good look:(

beanie - sending you some more (((hugs))) hun, it sounds as though you're going through a bad time

BDINI - thank goodness that nightmare is finally over for you, hopefully you can look forward to a few days off before starting a "normal" job in a "normal" environment.
I'm much nastier than kerri though:D I'm hoping you put something in ex-boss's cake to make him remember you fondly as he spends hours on the loo :rotfl:
Seriously, as marmite says, try to remember the good times and lovely to hear about the card x

And a massive WELL DONE to everyone for all the NSDs rolling in and the in-a-row targets being smashed.. we're definitely on for another record month :j:j

Speaking of which.. I have two more NSDs to add to the pot, NSD no 7 grabbed by the throat yesterday :j:j I was going to attempt another 5 in-a-row but I have to spend tomorrow:(:( so that idea has gone by the board until next week unfortunately.

Right, I'll stop rabbiting on now and let you all get some peace again:)
