    Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

    NSD Challenge: October 0/14
  • Good evening everyone,

My first post of February. Been having a slight re-think with my rules. I am currently doing the Grocery Challenge which means buying reduced priced and bargain buys when you can find them. This is really hard to do while trying to rack up NSDs! So, I have a monthly budget for grocery shopping and that is going to be separate to my NSD challenge but everything else will be counted as a spend.

The story so far is .......

Friday 1st - Direct Debits left my account
Saturday 2nd - Bargain buy too good to miss, two pairs of Hush Puppies boots reduced to £72; that was a saving of a whopping £123!!!
Sunday 3rd - Coffee with my best friend, only £2 but a spend
Monday 4th - Trip to the hairdressers

    but ........

5th, 6th and 7th have been NSDs taking my current total to #3

Not too unhappy with that :)

Managed my first NSD of the month yesterday. Would have had another one today, but I forgot to bring my lunch to work with me, so had to go out and buy something.

    So that's now me with:

    1/11 NSD

Must remember my lunch tomorrow :D
