just spotted this on the main grabbit board. Def worth keeping an eye on the clearance sections. Mimi, are you listening?:D

Went into my local Boots today. Amazingly the clearance section had been restocked with new stuff and with further reductions:
    Betty and Walter purses 49p
Soap and Glory body scrub 99p
    FCUK body wash 99p
    Necklaces £1.25
Plus lots of other stuff which wasn't there last week.

While I was browsing, a Sales Assistant came along with a basket of more goodies, including some No7 eye shadow kits marked as £1.40. I got two, and when I got to the till they scanned as 35p each!!
The young male SA just said, oh they've been reduced further!

I assumed they must have been last years stock, but when I checked the Xmas catalogue they were there, page 47, priced £14!
    £14 - 90% =£1.40, then another 75% off that = 35p! :j

The thing I don't understand is why these eyeshadow kits weren't in the 50% or 75% sale???? Not that I'm complaining;)

The kits sold out within 10 minutes, but it just shows it is still worth checking your local Boots for sale goodies!

Patty, your total is amazing, well done.
My local car parks are so clean. I resorted to lurking in my car one evening when I saw the cleaner going round the car park with his 'grabber'. I wanted to see where he put the stuff he was picking up, hoping to determine which bin he put it all in. No joy, he disappeared into the store with it all.
I may have resorted to FK's old trick of snaffling the bag from the bin, driving off, sorting it, grabbing the receipts and returning the bag to the bin.:o
(I think it was FK, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

    what a good idea:D

I was unemployed and went shopping with my dole money, a nice new £50. Got to the till and I put my hand in my pocket and no money, couldn't afford a wallet. Rather than get upset I just hoped that the person who found it needed it more than I did. Kharma.
