Oh flipping heck its not my week:(What with Alfie being poorly, now one of my terrapins has died.I have a pair of tropical miniature ones (But they are huge) and about 7 years old.Yesterday I thought one was asleep and went back a bit later and hed died and the other one was nudging him:(
And my sky+ box has just gone kaput! Sky want £65 to send out an engineer and you can guess what I said;)So tomorrow morning I'm cancelling and will go to Virgin if I have too or even invest in one of those box thingies that you can record on and just have freeview. Might actually be a blessing in disguise because it'll save a fortune and I've persuaded MrLala we don't need skysports as he can go to the pub to see the odd match;)

We have been with Sky a long time and the Sky went kaput ... and they wanted money for the engineer. I said no, thought about it, then rang to cancel. He asked why and I had a right moan, considering how long we had had Sky, and they agreed to send engineer free of charge :) We ended up with a new sky dish and box, all I had to do was to agree not to cancel for 12 months ... worth a phone call :)

PMSL noooo, I'm ok where I am! Having said that 3 or 4 of my usual haunts had been picked clean today which is why I asked.

Great bridge sada was manic today. Got 6 recs just going in & coming out!
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

    Evening all...:D

Just read your post Nikki...we've had a number of different hard drive recorders and now have a Youview box. It has all the freeview channels, plus all 5 catch up / on demand ..you can get loads of different films too. It can record 2 channels at the same time and you can set it to record series etc. The usual FF. Rew, pause of course and it has great HD replay. I think it was about £248 from Currys, can highly recommend it :)
    If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)

Spot on Nikki.. I'm pretty sure if you tell 95% of the blokes in the uk that they have to go 'down t' pub' to watch the footie, rather than watch it on Sky Sports they will be more than happy. In the long run, it might save you a few quid too!!;);)

That was my logic;)We work together every day so when he goes to the pub I get a break:rotfl::rotfl:And I pay the Sky bill but he buys his own beer, so its win win for me;);)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

When I told them not to bother sending an engineer I'd cancel, straightaway they came back with an offer of a free new HD Sky+ box, but they wanted an extra £5 a month:eek::eek:Do they think I'm daft (Don't answer that;)) I might as well pay for the engineer.Ok I'd get free HD but I'm sort of thinking its the ideal get out with MrLala to finally get rid of Sky;)
