I was told
Takes 24/48/1 week
Told wait til next stmt as they go on in a "last sweep"
Told manually aplied b4 stmt
Told they go on when store sends them bulk info !!!!!!!!!!
And many more I really hope goes better for you guys tho and that you et your points but I think you may have a fight on your hands

Morning all! It's a beautiful sunny morning here after a seriously foul day yesterday.
I'm off out today to spread some love dust and marry some peeps, note to self to call in at an Express on the way and see if they've restocked. Hope you all have good and productive days whatever you are up to.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
Right that's it, youngest son has just been collected, off for a scout leader weekend jolly :j
Feel quite demob happy, he takes as much effort to organise as it did when I had 3 teens at home and the mess he leaves behind is beyond belief, by the time I have restored the house back to its factory settings he will be back again to make even more clutter and untidiness
I am desperate to know what is on my clubcard accounts this time, only expecting 2 mailings as the little- used cards were even less used than normal - wether, visitors, holidays, Christmas, health, crisis and Sada shops got in the way of visits to tosco. I've got about a tenner in TPP to use so I quite fancy a MOC/points shop.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Morning all. Confession time. I got 42 boxes dw tabs yesterday. But that is to be divided between 5 of us. But I do still have 5 boxes of the 90 pack from Asda a few months back.
Moral dillemma question for you all.
As you know my Dad died and Mum has about £12,000.00 that he left her in bank. Dad was quite tight and Mum did without a lot as he would not spend ( except to hand money to oldest brother for failed businesses-another story).
So I am managing Mums finances and she gets pension credit aswell as her pension. Have done a MSE overhaul and got her house insurance down by £30.00 per month and her water is on a meter saving £27.00 per month.
When Dad died Mum paid for the funeral out of the bank. However my oldest sister keeps saying Mum should not touch the money as it was Dad's money. So now evertime there is a large bill to pay ( i.e.the headstone) she puts out a message that we five children have to pay. Now my younger brother and I are both strapped financially so cant really help but younger sister is ok but is getting fed up of being asked as Mum now says she is saving the money as our inheritance and sis thinks that will be unfair as younger brother and I will get same as the rest who have been paying.
What do you think ? Is it right for Mum to expect us to pay or not? I had a row with her this week as when I mentioned it she said it is our duty.
I am in a similar situation. Its tough isn't it?
I understood that all funeral/ burial/ headstone costs came out of the estate. So the money for the headstone should be allocated before the inheritance is taken.
If someone is suggesting it is "Dad's money" then would he have wanted a headstone? would he have wanted his children to struggle or to fall out over who pays for it, when he had savings? I would have thought it obvious that the headstone money comes from his estate/ savings.
Another thing to bear in mind is that hopefully your Mum will live for a long time and she may need that money for herself or it may limit any benefits/ care she needs to claim in the future. So there may be nothing to inherit.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. hampydoodums wrote: »Another update on the Gillette extra cc points. Spoken to CS again this morning, now saying that extra points are held in a suspended account and may not always show until the next mailing. I was advised to save all the info on my purchases, including emails (I have screen shots too
) in case they don't show up. I need to keep an eye on my account and if they don't appear, to call up around the end of March but before 4th April to check if they have gone on.
fairclaire wrote: »Im hoping to hear back from them today. I'll never remember this come march if that's the case.....better mark it on the calendar. Ive never had this with bonus points on normal shopping before, they usually just go on right away.
Morning all:D
For those doing the extra cc points (I am trying to get enough for merlin passes for 7 of us:eek::eek:) Fortunately a friend that works at the hospital, she takes all my [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] surplas conditioner, smartprice toothbrushes etc...as quite often patients will be admitted and have no washbags etc... and another that is a sheltered housing warden. They will now be getting 1 or 200:eek::eek: cans of shaving gel to dish out:eek::eek:
Anyway, sorry went completely off track:rotfl::rotfl:
Yesterday, I went to collect and the points didn't go on, lovely blokey told me to "nip in to the store" the lovely cs just manually put on 1274 points......
Omg, if the points do automatically go on at a later date I might get double:j:j:j0 -

Thought I knew the answer but I'm thinking of the lambs:cool:The lambs went down to 1p the same day as the Creme eggs and it was a wet and windy day when I came home with these;)It was 10th May when the Easter stuff was reduced to 1p;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
