Update - I am running logmein (a beta version) on Vista Business edition and all is working well

I tried to get crossloop running last night as they had 'trouble' (:rotfl: ) downloading logmein. They couldn't even find the crossloop program in the windows firewall so I guess it's going to be another two hours on the phone tonight to get logmein installed.

Honestly, I'd have thought Microsoft would have developed some kind of easy desktop access/file sharing system :rolleyes:

Update: I used logmein and was impressed by the ease of access, then because concerned at how easy it was to access their computer. So I've just uninstalled it after it screwed up their sidebar and turned off aero.

So, back to crossloop and it apparently requires User Access Control to be disabled. I found it very slow though, I think this is due to the graphics quality being set too high but I can't find any option to decrease this, only to "compress jpeg" which I set from 1-9 but that didn't seem to help. :wall:

Hello Jampton, can you tell me how you managed to get Logmein working on Vista?? I use Logmein on XP without problem but every time I try install the beta on Vista it says install ended prematurely and won't install. This is even with UAC turned off.
