Have a good evening. Having a hot chocolate whilst watching the football on the television. DH and DSS are out so a nice quiet evening!

  • Hi everyone, well done satchmo.
    Larrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO lol.
Tracey I'm glad you're having a good day.
I took the kids to the lake this evening, oh my God it was so beautiful.
The geese were flying and came up really close, didnt hiss or chase us, then they went in the lake, they were so friendly. We saw pea-hens I think, ducks of every description, all sorts of dogs and people, swans, and we found a dead seagull which had only just passed so we put it in the bin, the kids have named it Burt and they gave it a good send off and said prayers when it got plonked in the bin. I really enjoyed it the wind was icy cold and it was starting to get dark when we left but I feel like I had a Eureka moment, something which I had deemed to be insignificant and something I will get around to doing has had such a positive effect. Really happy and will definitely do it again soon, minus the dead seagull RIP.
4 AF days out of 31 and bloated with orange juice at present lol.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
  • Hi all,

Hope you don't mind a lurker?

Can I ask a question or several?? What does SNC mean?

I gather from this thread that many of you participated in the January no alcohol thing, did any of you feel better for it?

To be honest, I know I drink too much but I don't think I'm at the step where it is a problem but feel that it is heading the way of getting to be a problem IYSWIM??

So how does this thread work and can I join? lol

    Hello thread

I didn't meet my target last month, and am not in a good place at the minute. I want to be af the rest of this month, as it's causing me problems. I've been getting paranoid, and I really don't like who I have become. I'm much happier and a much better person when I don't drink.

I've had 1 afd this month so far. I'm hoping to get my head screwed baack on.
