2 AFD for me, please. OH asked if I was aiming for an AF year. I answered honestly that I don't know. I don't want to drink at home the way I had been, so wouldn't rule out social drinking. We don't go out often, so that would mean very occasional drinking.

Hope Monday's date goes well, Barny.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

    Morning :hello:

2 glasses of wine last night - they were on the small side so probably about 3 units in total.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Good luck for March everyone.

My target is always 'today'. All I need to do is get through today without a drink. I don't know what will happen tmrw - I have always been spectacularly poor at predicting the future (so much of the stuff I thought would happen has not happened).
I spent most of my life fearing the future and regretting the past. So I set my target at one day. It helps me keep my emotions in the day as well.
I am an alcoholic so moderation is not on my radar, but I it's possible for me not to drink one day at a time.

Hello everyone. It's been ages since I've been able to post properly what with one thing and another! Little mans arm is a bit better now thank god! It's my birthday today. 35 today and my first sober birthday for 19 years!!!!!!
My plan is to go to a meeting at half 12, then im meeting a guy to go to church, then out for dinner with my girlfriends later. I'm excited about today, it will be full and positive. I got my 60 day medal last week and I feel so much better about myself!
Hope everyone is well, happy and achieving their own version of sobriety xxx
