God bless her, and thank-you Snowy for so many wonderful memories.

I'm not a dog person satchmo but I'm sure that's the right way to think of it.

Sending you huge hugs and sympathy.

L:ack of AFness is excused under the circs.

P.S. for some reason no smilies are working tonight so please imagine empathy and body language.

I am on my phone so will be brief.

    10/17

So finally in double figures! I did buy wine but didn't touch a drop :)
  • Satchmo - so sorry about little Snowy!

I lost my old ginger tom Reggie this year and realised he had lived with me for longer than anyone else in my life. They become such a companion, there with you through all the ups and downs and never judging, just loving unconditionally.

Thankfully Snowy went quickly and without suffering and you will take comfort in that when you're looking back.

I haven't lost any weight this week but after losing 3 Lbs last week I can't complain.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Well I am now on 4 days AF this month and heading for my 5th tonight.
Last night I was coming back from a very long couple of days at work on a train (very nice for me as it was 1st class :o ) so I had 2 glasses of wine with my dinner. I was home for 8pm and did not continue which I was really pleased about - normally that would be license to finish the job off!

My sum total of alcohol units since Saturday night is 2

Going to settle down now to watch a programme all about me I suspect now :D

Oh and massive congratulations to SkintDad - me jealous? Noooo:)

Do you want to join the November challenge? No pressure.

have been busy cleaning and tidying house to get it ready to show to prospective buyers. I'm now starting to clean inside cupboards - who is this alien that has taken over Satchmo?

Have you decided to go north?

I am now in a quandary as I don't think I have the self restraint of most people here who seem to be able to drink on certain nights. I worry that when I have a drink again that will be it and I will be back to every night. How does everyone else manage this?

I used to worry about this. Now I know that when I have a drink I will stop and that when I have a drinking night I will then get back on the wagon. I know this because whilst I like having a drink now and again I also like not drinking a lot.

PS as I know I am not going to make my target, can I go target-free and just count my AFDs? Does that work?

Sorted - you are now TF (Target Free :))
