    Oh Lord!

REALLY struggling! Excellent day at work and got something done I'd been dreading plus some other small victories. Went for sunbed after work in prep for weekend and whilst getting undressed I noticed that my 4-pack is forming nicely with all the gym trips. Now at home and and OH making a gorgeous dinner with a lovely bottle of red wine decanted out! Good day and I want to celebrate and bad day & I want to commiserate!

I've created a small starter of crackers and smoked mackerel pate and eaten that and now i'm pacing! Pacing thinking about having a drink.

Went to get some cranberry juice and it appears to be done and there appears to be nothing but booze to drink!

Sooner it is bedtime the better!!

Calling early! 16 AF for me as tonight will be clear of booze! It will!

Have a nice night everyone - already half 7 so we are nearly there!

Stupot: I'm exactly the same re. if it's a good day I wish to celebrate and if a bad day, commiserate.

Managed to stay sober so far this evening, which has been somewhat of a challenge.

Well done for tonight AlexLK! Looks like we both got there in the end despite struggling all evening. In the morning we will mentally celebrate our small victory of another night in the back of the net!

Also Congrats to Skintdad! Another Kent man! :T

Stupot: Thank you! Oddly enough I often feel quite pleased with myself come the morning when I've not had a drink (or several) the night before. Glad I'm not the only one. :o

OK now it's surely not too early to declare 11/18.

  • Well done Skint Dad!
Amazing achievement and an inspiration to all of us.

And well done stupotstu and alex, it's when the times are tough that it's the greatest achievement to be AF. But you held in there!

Welcome Iwillsucceed. I have found heaps of help in these comments.

    Have a great day everyone!
