I am having to be very disciplined right now. I have had a bit of a fall-out with my manager over my holiday entitlement.
Luckily I have to pick my DD up later so can't have a drink yet. Hopefully by then the craving will pass.
I once read that if you go 3 days without something then you are not addicted to it so determined to get that far at least.
Hope everyone else is having a good evening.
Good plan. It's also about setting new, good habits. It reminds me of visualisation techniques. We have to believe we can be AF. Not easy after years of regular drinking but we're proving it can be done.:)

New Day. Glad you have come back:T. This is a place for letting things out and getting support. Since I've been here there has been nothing really judgemental.
Just let it all out as many of us have probably had similar issues and all want to drink less (or staying drinking less/nothing).
41 - don't beat yourself up. For whatever reason(s) you didn't go mad with the drinking and just as you cant change the bad things in the past, you can't change the good.
Its a long journey so put it down as a "win" and remember it could have been a bad defeat:p.

Might have to go to the doctors if this cold thing carries on. I get better during the day and my chest clears a bit, but then feel wiped out again in the morning. Don't really have the time as need to get things sorted for Saturday. Am getting more and more excited!!
Am not going to uni today, spending day at home trying to revise for an exam we have next week and taking it easy.

I am going to a WWII "Tea Dance" in DD's school this afternoon, looking forward to that, DD & her peers have been practising this for months, she is sooo excited. I won't get on tonight as I need to take up some hems on curtains for my aunt & try get some housework done :eek:
