1AF for me (7/11 AF yay my first smilie)
Last night I realised that it was easier not to drink than to have a drink and then stop....mmm...this needs some thought.
Sophie, this is me too... easier to have nothing at all... I find it difficult to find my off button so it's easier just not to start at all...Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

I know we all want to meet our targets but if you're a cutter down and you and DH want to plan in a drink for a Tuesday 'date night' (hate that expression) then that's fine, don't feel bad about it.
Thanks Maman
I think I was being a bit over-ambitious when setting my target, cutting down from 7 nights a week to 2 a week was a bit unrealistic, guess I got caught up in all the hype, didn't realise how hard it would be, still fancy a bottle at night but it is getting a little easier I guess.:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

My rule of thumb is three nights for planned weekend drinking and 4 AF but I am flexible when it comes to holidays and special occasions. It doesn't always show up in my monthly targets as it depends where the weekends fall in the month but I know I'm doing OK. Over time I found my tolerance levels dropped too so I often stop before I finish a bottle, unheard of previously!
I've been doing this for about 3 years now and I still have occasional AF nights where I fancy a drink but it gets easier to resist. Promise.;)0 -

20/31 AFDs for me please. No wine bells for me, but my colleague who has pledged to abstain for a year was fantasizing about wine today. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0
