Hurrah - having a great month. Payday is the 25th this month so only 10 days to go. Trying to work out how I'm doing it! Think it's mainly cooking from scratch and freezing extra portions, along with keeping a price book. Hoping to get down to £50 per month by September...Have I said something useful?

Wooo hooo! I'm officially installed back into myhouse as of last night (having decorating done and we were staying at my Mum's). I can really pick up my store cupboard cooking again.
Oh.... okay, I can when the new flooring is laid in the living room so that I can get to half my cupboards in the kitchen where they're 'resting' at the mo.
Oh, and after that we can move the sofa's and fish tank out of the dining room and bring the table and chairs back down from the shed so that we have somewhere to sit and eat dinner (our sofa's are still covered in dust sheets, so it looks like we'll be eating on our beds tonight :rotfl: At least we got round to rebuilding them last night before we crashed out  )
Why oh why did I think redecorating to such a huge scale was a great idea?April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -

Well done those of you who guessed moc was money off coupon! You dont win a prize sadly but I have reminded you to use them where you can. And the fact that certain supermarkets take coupons wether you have purchased that item or not, this is not a rule tho as they dont have to, so one day A s/a will accept them and the next day they wont. This can be frustrarting, but if you bear in mind they really shouldnt then any accepted is a bonus. More coppers for your dreams:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o

I wanted to add that I've forgotten about the milk man. So three bottle of milk per week at 48p a bottle, so £5.76 to be added for the four weeks for milk.
Ongoing total £175.930 -

So close to the top of my budget with quite a way to go until the end of the month, had to go to a couple of shops for things today, partly due to my partner needing extra pack ups stuff for his weekend away, next time he's staying at home!!!!
Anyway, going to need to plan very carefully if I want to stay in budget until the end of my month! One day I might be more organised...........
