thats a bad crack these days as we now live in a world of mobiles and smartphones.
I know some friends who no longer have landlines as its cheaper from them just to have a mobile phone rather than pay line rentals etc.0 -
They should spend less money on TV advertising and spend it on training the staff.its not just home shopping, i ordered underwear online as they did not have my size in local store, had confirmations and then emails saying item dispatched then next time email delay is dispatching item, many emails to them and been told no problem guaranteed will be delivered to store on ** then email sorry delay in delivery in the end i emailed Andy and told him this was unacceptable and i had to go elsewhere. on of his exec team got back to me and check and conformed it would be delivered to store next day FOC as he as refunded my card. nect day get another email delayed and wont be delivered, so back onto andy and this time he contacts me by phone all apologentic and says he has canceelled the item as its clearly an isse and has added a £25 e voucher in my asda account. personally i think as this size was not instore most likely not even in warehouse to send, so just kept giving delay emails.0

Ive got rid of my land line, cus it was costing me £12 a month and i wernt using it, my mobile has free texts and some free calls, al i need, except for occasions like this, when i wish i had my land line.
Tho its probably good for the customer service team that i cant keep ringing them for free, cus i would of really p***ed them off by now.0 -

I use a mobile all the time but as i use this for business i have a 0191 number directed to this that i got from flextel, so if anyone aske for landline i give the 0191 number and they have no idea they are calling my mobile. also on o2 favourite places tarrive so in local postcode area i get free LL calls0 -
use saynoto0870.com and search the argos 08 CS number in and you should get a std landline number which would be cheaper to call on mobile.

I found a number to ring that makes 0800 numbers free ( www . 0800buster.co.uk ) and i was ringing the landline of where the Asda groceries online is based (Minworth), but i used up all my free monthly landline calls on my contract.0 -

Tell me about it - as a reason for failing to contact someone it's petty, especially nowadays.
She offered to put me a landline number on the account. I told her there was no point as I would never be using them again. And I haven't. I can be petty tooRule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

true and the e voucher they gave me can only be used through the asda direct site and so anything i have fancied has never been available, so still have 25 to spend0 -
