I'm just using normal pillows wedged round where my body needs supporting. Hubby keeps teasing me and saying it's like sleeping in a soft play area with all the pillows though
Here I go again on my own....

    Hi

I know its expensive, but I bought the V pillow from john Lewis and its been fab!

I was having such bad pelvic pain during the night that I could not wait any longer and bought this in the spur of the moment. I am glad I did though :j

It filled with micro pearls, so can be squished and shaped anyway, not rigid at all. Its fullly machine washable and can be used as a nursing piloow or to help baby sit up later on.

All in all in invaluable buy for me

I used an old fshioned type feather bolster which is just like 2 pillows joined together. Found it great. Duvet is good idea but a bit too hot in summer! Personally I found feathers the best for moulding round the body. Also found one of those foam wedges invaluable. Cost £10 off Ebay. I often thought if you go to an upholsterers they would cut you a wedge of foam and it would be far cheaper but never got round to it.
I also have a couple of those v cushions - ideal for your back, positioned round you when bf. I'm now using it to prop up my little boy as he's still a bit wobbly sitting up. They sell expensive ones in Mothercare etc but I got mine from Argos, I'm sure they're only about £7.

I had the Dunelm one too, it was £17 or £18, something like that! It was great up until about 7 months after which I couldn't get comfy no matter how I tried lolol!

I bought a wedge as well on Ebay for £3, shaped like a cartoon wedge of cheese that you shove under your bump. At one point I had a wedge under my bump and the dunelm pillow behind my back, and another normal pillow between my legs!! Good job the hubby had gone off it, he couldn't get anywhere near me anyway!! ;)

I gave it away on Freecycle once I'd finished with it but it definitely was worth it!

I bought the v pillow from Argos (link below). It was really comfy and supportive when I was pregnant, and since my son was born I've used it loads for breastfeeding. It's only £5.99 so it's a lot cheaper than most of the special breastfeeding/support pillows on sale.
