Huge sigh
Sorry mate I tried to help, but you don't like what I tell you - even tho' it is actually the way it works.
I know themightyn has told you what you WANT to hear ... doesn't make it correct tho'
Anyway, I've given you my two pence worth, I'll leave you to it.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -

At this moment the OP is owed nothing.
The OP said it was a 12 month deal that has since ended and reverted to full price. Unless they can find the original contract and check it then everything seems like a normal contract.
Vodafone changed to paperless billing back in 2010. If you wanted paper bills you paid extra, was that free paper billing part of the deal? Maybe that is why you ceased to get paper bills.
When the last bill arrived did it detail the monthly cost minus some discounts. That may help shed light on the increased costs.0 -
I have just read this thread and it seems to me that what you need is a copy of the original deal you agreed. Do you have it? If so and it supports your assertions, then Vodafone will need to adhere to it and you are owed money.
If, as I suspect, you don't then you can bet your boots that Vodafone will have the t&c for the deal that they offered to you on their archives. Ask for a copy.
Now I have followed this forum for some time and the guys that you think insulted you did not. These are clued up guys. They told you like it is and you didn't like what they said or how they said it. Grumbler corrected your misconception that the contract was not open ended.
easy corrected your belief that companies want to keep you as a customer and strive hard to do it. Surely you must have read in the press that Insurance companies have uncompetitive renewal prices and can easily be beaten by comparison sites, even your existing insurance company gives a better deal to new customers.
And mobile phones??? Usually much better deals available for new rather than existing companies.
And a 12 month contract worth £90 giving away an android smartphone isn't a bit of business that any company would want, I would surmise.
And one last thing. Are you 100% sure it was a 12 month deal? I say that as I never saw one as good as you got and I was looking. The reason I bring this up is anyone can cancel a contract, but if it is mid way through and if it was a 24-month deal, stand by for a final bill with 9-months' rental hitting your account some day soon.
So have you got any written proof that this was a 12 month deal and not a 24-month one with a 12 month discount, just like SKY, Virgin Media etc offer on their services?0 -
