Looks like i was right in my assumption!!
1 cold weather payments has just been triggered for the BN area!
- Those who previously commented here (ridiculing and doubting my presumption) : Please leave your apologies to me, below...
Thanks.0 -
I dont think anyone doubted your assumption that it was cold, posters were just pointing out that snow doesnt always have to mean that CWP are triggered.
Also, as pointed out to you, it needs to be 7 days, not 5.SPC #1813

My assumption was that we (in the BN area) were due a payment.
It was correct.
Plus, in my first post, i mention that it's been very cold for much longer than a week.
Thanks for your most recent reply, but its not quite an apology...is it?
Oh well, i guess it'll do.

But you lied in your opening post. It hasn't snowed 5 days in a row in BN. Why say so when it clearly hasn't? I think YOU should apologise for making a false statement. I only commented on the snow, not the temperature, so definitely no reasons to apologise to you.0

Some parts of BN only had a trigger today. There are three weather stations that cover postcodes beginning with BN, only one weather station had reported a period of exceptionally cold weather before today, the other two did so today.0

Believe it or not, PO20 is covered by the same weather station that also covers most parts of the BN (Brighton) postcode areas, Thorney Island - where the devil is that, it sounds like it's stuck in the middle of the English Channel or something!same as po20 nothing yesterday and i looked today and we have a payment triggered.0 -

Same for SO40, I'm pretty sure it's covered by Thorney Island as well. It's quite near Hayling Island, there's an army base there.Believe it or not, PO20 is covered by the same weather station that also covers most parts of the BN (Brighton) postcode areas, Thorney Island - where the devil is that, it sounds like it's stuck in the middle of the English Channel or something!0
